    INDOOR TENNIS GROUPS

    Weekly sign-ups starting December 7th. 2025

    All classes are co-ed, for girls and boys.

    All players from any school district are welcome.

    Junior Tennis - Ages 8-12. SUNDAYS 11:30-1pm. COST $15 Weekly

    Middle School Tennis - Ages 12-14. SUNDAYS 1-2:30pm. COST $15 Weekly

    The Junior and Middle School groups are the starting point to a lifelong enjoyment for the game of tennis.

    FUN is the emphasis with quick moving hand eye coordination and footwork drills. All the tennis terms, scoring and match play are introduced while building good racquet skills.

    All students must bring their own racquet, and are reminded to bring a clean change of shoes for the turf and water.

    SPACE IS LIMITED

    A maximum of 8 players will be allowed per group weekly.

  • High School Match Play: Ages 14-17

    For teen players, intermediate and above, who can play a match without the aid of a coach.

    SUNDAYS 1-3pm. COST $10

    This group is for all teen players who are practicing for team competition.

    All players from any school district are welcome.

    The focus will be on playing practice sets, singles and doubles.

    A short warm-up period will be followed by supervised match play.

    A minimum of 6 players is needed weekly, maximum of 12.

    All students must bring their own racquet, and are reminded to bring a clean change of shoes for the turf and water.

HOW TO SIGN-UP

1: Follow the pre-register button and email Coach Alan Adams to pre-register.

2: Download your sign-up form with waiver and bring it with you on the first day of participation.

3: Pay by cash or check weekly, in December. Payable to UP Tennis.

The groups will be held at the HIT Ice and Turf Center. (1647 17.4 Rd, Escanaba, MI.)

Players are reminded to bring clean shoes for the turf, racquets and water.
